Congratulations to Maria, Melissa and Alicia for winning a copy of Wives of the Warriors!  I pray this study will encourage you, your friends and your families as your spouses continue to serve our country.

Thank you, ladies, for the support you give to your husbands as they carry out their military duties.  I know it’s not easy.  I know you get lonely.  I know you get tired.  I know you get frustrated and at times, I’m sure you get depressed.

But know that we serve a God who is with us at all times.  Did you know that the most frequently stated promise in the Bible is that God is with us?  It’s even stated more than ‘I forgive you.’  WOW!!  God really, really wants us to know that He is with us.

Wives of the Warriors is a 10 week Bible study that addresses the issues that are unique to our military lifestyle, but at the same time, the Biblical principles that are presented are relevant to all believers.  This study can be done individually or in a group.  There are many benefits to doing this study in a small group, so I pray that is an option for you.  Adults learn most from their peers.  We value each others experiences and learn much from sharing them in a safe setting where everyone is equally respected.

So ladies, enjoy the journey of discovering a God who loves you dearly, accepts you unconditionally and desires you to know Him intimately.
