Listen, Reflect, Pray, Obey

Driving through Philippians this morning, I parked the car at vs. 9-11.  There I stopped, read, re-read and reflected. I listened for what God was saying to me, I reflected upon this, I prayed for understanding.  There is only one thing left for me to do – obey. Put into practice that which my listening heart has heard God say to me.  And what is that?  He has asked me to love more.

Read the passage for yourself.  Listen, reflect, pray and obey.  As you immerse yourself in God’s word, its transforming power is sure to make a difference in your life.

“This is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ – to the glory and praise of God.”
