The 11th Hour God
Posted in Blog on 15. Jul, 2009
A few days ago I received a phone call from someone who was getting increasingly frustrated. With only three days left before they had to move, a long search for someplace else to move into turned up empty. After weeks of looking, nothing suitable was around to be found.
We prayed the prayer of Jehoshaphat from 2 Chronicles 20:15: The battle belongs to the Lord. But while the people waited for God to work, they continued to worship and praise God.
So we worshiped and praised God while they continued their search. We watched and waited for God to work. Guess what? Here it is three days later, the day they had to move…guess what they’re doing? They’re moving! They found the exact place God had for them to live. It’s perfect.
God is always soooooo faithful. He’s never late, He’s rarely early, but He’s always on time. Just in the nick of time, God reaches down and rescues us.
Praise God. Praise God.
